Raat by Julius John Alam

The a solo presentation by Julius Johm Alam was held at the Sanat Initiative on Aug 20th, 2020. The display was a culmination of spell binding graphite and charcoal drawings of the urban landscapes.

“Julius translates the reality into representation in such a way that it can be visually entered and inhabited by the viewer. He reduces expression in his mark making to such a point that the work becomes silent.
