The moment we realize that the computational power of an ordinary smartphone today is much more advanced that the first computer that took us to the moon, it does not come as a surprise that the pocket sized gadget enables us to complete tasks that could have taken days or even months back in the day. Today, the camera technology in smartphones has reached such a point where the lens in most devices is good enough to create images for publication. Hence a lot of smartphone applications have been developed to match the productivity needs for today. Some of them help us stay connected while others help us tap into our creative side.
One of the most trending apps these days is Prisma.
“Prisma transforms your photos into works of art using the styles of famous artists: Van Gogh, Picasso, Levitan, as well as world famous ornaments and patterns. A unique combination of neural networks and artificial intelligence helps you turn memorable moments into timeless art pieces.”
In other words users can achieve striking results without spending long hours on a sketching pad or mixing colours on a palette just with the click of a button. Always intrigued by new technology, I decided to install this innovative application to use in my everyday photography experiences.
