Malaika Rahimtoola, originally from Karachi, Pakistan, is currently based in London, United Kingdom. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in History and Economics at Brown University in 2022. She is now pursuing her Master’s degree at the Courtauld Institute of Art, specialising in nineteenth- and twentieth-century South Asian art. Driven by a passion for history and regional heritage, Malaika seeks to bring a fresh perspective to the display of traditionally underrepresented regions abroad. Her academic work reflects a dedication to exploring the intersections of modern and contemporary art alongside historical narratives.

Alizeh Afzal is a writer, artist and researcher based in Karachi. She graduated from Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture in 2023 with the Annual Jalaluddin Award for the Most Outstanding Artistic Talent of IVS and an overall distinction. She is currently working at the Citizens Archive of Pakistan as Junior Project Manager. In 2023, she founded The Blue Orange Project, a collaborative, process driven initiative aiming to foster dialogue between marginalized voices through reading, writing and art making to create meaningful, socially engaged work outside mainstream institutions. She worked with the Karachi Biennale in 2017 and 2019 and has exhibited in various galleries such as Koel Gallery, VM Gallery, IVS Gallery, AAN Art Space and Museum and World Bank

Sumbul Natalia is a Lahore based visual artist, writer, researcher and curator. She graduated in Visual Communication Design from College of Art and Design, Punjab University and has an MPhil in Cultural Studies from the National College of Arts, Lahore. She has taught at various art institutes of Lahore. She currently serves as a lecturer in the Visual Communication Design Department at National College of Arts, Lahore and is a PhD scholar in Art and Design (studio practice) at the Punjab University. Natalia has been part of several group shows locally and internationally and has participated in various residencies and conducted curatorial projects. She also writes for different art magazines including ArtNow, The Karachi Collective, Aleph Review, Nigaah Art and ADA magazine.
