For the final public event as part of the exhibition ‘Is It Possible to Live Outside of Language’ we turn our gaze to the future that we hope to build and sustain on our own terms and one that is inclusive of all. How can one utilize the power of language to investigate the past? What power does collectivization generate and how can it be sustained? Using his ongoing project Tomorrow We Inherit the Earth, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto will examine histories of popular resistance and anti-imperialism in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia which are interpreted to create and develop a language and an archive of an imagined revolution yet to come in a post-utopian and post-human world.
