Curated by Aziz Sohail this exhibition is a continuation of the dialogue “Drawn to Form: The Matter in Hand” which began at the Blacktown Arts Center in Sydney, Australia in 2015
The intersection of drawing and ceramic creates an intriguing narrative about the traditional and contemporary society. How heritage and craft and viewed in the art world.
The works of artists Abdullah M. I. Syed, Ali Kazim, Naima Dadabhoy, Noor Ali Chagani and Sadia Saleem, all belonging to diverse practices, open up a dialogue that questions Pakistan as a post-colonial society.
There was a talk by the artists and the curator on the 7th of July 2018.
