Art Citi Gallery opened a group show of four talented artists in Karachi on Sept 24th 2020. The show titled ‘Darbar-e-Jiddat’ was a tribute to Jamil Naqsh curated by Akbar Ali . Noreen Rashid, Shiblee Muneer, S M Mansoor and Akbar Ali displayed a pleasant array of miniature paintings.
The miniature paintings were done on a variety of themes and scale. On closer views, the paintings had minute detailing added by all four brilliant artists leaving a lasting impression. The show opened with a talk on the life and art journey of Jamil Naqsh whereas speakers also shed light on the artworks of the participating artists.
The show is expected to run till Sept 30th 2020
